January snow

Picspam time!
I emptied the camera folder on my phone and found a huge number of photos of snowy landscapes. I guess the only time I bother to photograph anything is when I’m out walking the dog. :P Since we moved in September I’ve been busy exploring my new surroundings, and now that it’s winter a whole new set of trails have emerged thanks to the snowmobiles.

You coming or what?

Have I told you I love old barns? Well, I love old barns. I don’t know why, I just think they’re so beautiful.
I should make it a photo project and just go around taking pictures of all of them. Which would take forever since there’s quite a lot of them around here…

Hare tracks

There’s a gazillion tracks around here, but so far I haven’t seen a single hare.
Just as well though, the dog might get… ideas.

These are so pretty! I love old barns, too :)

  3. 25 January 2013

I’m quite ready for spring now, but I must admit that those pictures are really idyllic. Pretty! ;)

Beautiful photos as always. Winter can be so lovely.

I am sorely wishing for snow, now! Your photos are really lovely.

These are beautiful! We never have enough snow around here to do that, and when I lived on the farm (with an old barn or two), we couldn’t go walking on the trail because coyotes would come out in the snow. We also had black panthers (at least one), which was already more than enough for me to know and have seen.

It’s so beautiful where you live!

Yeah, I’d stay out of the forest too if there were black panthers and coyotes wandering around… We have bears here, but not in the particular area where I live thankfully. It’s more of a problem in the villages further away from town.

And thank you! Nature here is very pretty yes, but as soon as you turn your eyes towards the town it’s like “oh…” I’ll take some pictures of it someday.

Wow, your pictures are amazing! I also love old barns. They just have so much character to them.

Beautiful scenery! I really liked looking at your photos :) I love the look of old barns too, and well, old wooden buildings in general I guess. I rarely see them where I live. That’s awesome that you live in such a pretty area!

    Fina bilder!

Beautiful pics! We don’t get much snow here in South Africa
