Ghost river

One day a little over a week ago, thick mist was rising from the river giving it a rather eerie feel. The photos below are all taken during my lunch our, in the middle of the day, but it looks like late in the evening. The sun doesn’t rise much higher than that this time of year…

In other news: we had a full-blown snowstorm this weekend. Friday night when I went to bed there was just this thin layer of frost in the grass and when I woke up Saturday morning there was snow everywhere! It’s still snowing actually so I think it’s here to stay now. I’m so happy, it’s December and it’s snowing! :D Christmas mood ignited!

That looks amazing. I’ve always wanted to live somewhere up there near the Arctic Circle because of the way seasons work. Here, even in winter, the sun is pretty powerful… and I’m really not a fan of sun. Hehe.

I’m loving this new layout, by the way! :)

Gorgeous photos! They do have an eerie feel to them, and so much atmosphere.

December here started off way too warm for my tastes. We’ve had spring temperatures since Saturday! It feels nice, but I like my winter to be cold.

    I’m digging the new layout!

Oh wow!!! :yay: I absolutely love these shots. There is nothing like fog and water together. *dreamy sigh* I would love to live near you… and not just for the scenery! You’re awesome! <3

    YAY for snow!!! :yay:

Wow, I love that first photo! I think fog can be eerie, but it also has a beautiful look to it :) Unfortunately, it’s still not cold where I am, so it doesn’t feel like the holiday season yet, sigh.

This new layout looks great too! I really like all of the doodles :D
