The last time I posted about Spooky Box Club I said I was unsubscribing. Well, apparently I couldn’t stay away for more than 5 months, so here we go again, haha!

I swear I’m not sponsored or anything, I just love this box so much. It’s the only subscription box I’ve found with a dark “alternative” theme, and I always like most of the things in every box.
Also, I’m not much of a shopper/spender and rarely buy unnecessary things for myself, so I think I’m allowed this one indulgence. 😉

This year, for the first time ever, I decided to participate in Inktober.
I’ve always wanted to but never even dared to try in fear I would drop out and fail, BUT NOT THIS TIME! I participated and against all odds, I completed it too! ✌😁

If you didn’t know, Inktober is a yearly drawing challenge. A bit like NaNoWriMo and similar projects, except here the focus is art. You’re supposed to draw something every day for a month.
Drawlloween is basically the same thing, only with fun spooky prompts. Since I’m such a massive Halloween lover I decided to do Inktober but with the prompts from Drawlloween.

Imaginary Karin - park first snow 2016

The first snow of this winter fell yesterday, on November the 2nd! 😁
I know not everyone is as enthusiastic about semi-frozen water as I am, but winter is my favourite season after autumn and it has become a tradition for me to post about the first snowfall every year. And this year it’s a serious snowfall too…

Yesterday morning I woke up to a world covered in a thin layer of mushy wet snow. It was only 0°C so I expected it to melt pretty soon but over the course of the day the temperature dropped and it just kept snowing.
In fact, a day later it’s still snowing! There have even been warnings on TV about severe weather, but I’m not worried. I already have winter tires on the car so I’m good.
